I don't claim to be a RTL guru, I'm still trying to figure the thing out, but,
regarding the posting by

asking about the RTL scheduler, The March 2000 issue of Dr. Dobbs Journal has a
GREAT article about how the fundamentals
are put together, and WHY one would use the RTL side instead of using a
timer/interrupt scenario on top of straight Linux.
