Re: RTL2.2 and aic7xxx

    Yes. The problem started after I applied the patch against
the kernel 2.2.14. The patching itself reported only two problems
which I corrected manually - one of them was the EXTRAVERSION in
the Makefile, and the second was CONFIG_RTL in arch/i386/defconfig.

    I did the usual "make dep;make clean;make bzlilo;make module;
make modules_install", rebooted and got that message.
    The same kernel sources (unpatched for RT), with the same 
configuration (.config), compiles and installs without any problems.

    Any idea?
