Patching kernel 2.2.14 or 2.2.13 ?

I have installed the debian package rtlinux (it's verison 2.0) and in
the docs it says that the patch should be applied to kernel 2.2.13.  I
would like to know if I can use that patch for kernel 2.2.14, or will
this cause me trouble?

If it is not possible to patch kernel 2.2.14 with this patch, then I
would like to know if there already exists a patch for kernel 2.2.14.
