RE: [rtl] FIFO question
Hi
This is right, since the fdX are associated with each user process, they can be same, all you need to look is rtfX should not be same.
Santhosh
I have two modules, in which FIFO 's are created.
Module 1 : RTF 1 and RTF 2
Module 2 : RTF 3 and RTF 4
To these modules, two linux tasks are connected, in which the well known
fdX = open("/dev/rtfX",...); (for both associated FIFO's;one to write
to, one to read from)
is done.
Yet, when I look at the fdX's, it seems that in both linux tasks they have
the values 3 and 4. (where one would expect at least s.th. like 3,4,5,6,
or even better : just 1,2,3,4. )
Is this normal or not ?
Thanks,
Alain.
