A few months ago, I ran the lowlatency patch with RTAI and suffered no
problems. The two patches are completely orthogonal, and I would not
expect any problems using both simultaneously. (Same for RTLinux.)
I would not be surprised to see subtle bugs between RTAI/RTLinux and
the preemptive kernel patch (a different method of obtaining lower
latency in standard Linux), but again, it's probably unlikely.
