Hello everybody,

I have two questions.  I'm sorry they're a bit simplistic.

First, what is the accuracy of the timing of a periodic rtthread?  Is it up 
to +15-20us as when a thread responds to a hardware interrupt?

Second, I am using Xmad4.1 and specifically the rt_max186.o module.  The 
kernel crashes when the sample rate, which translates I think, to the 
frequency of the periodic sampling thread, rises above 5kHz.  5kHz is the 
maximum possible frequency listed in the documentation.  This, however, 
referred to a P-133.  200us seems plenty of time to do the necessary 
accesses to the 16550 io port.  Surely a Cel-466 would be able to achieve a 
higher rate?
