RTL/RTAI for MPC8xxx

hello All, 

could you please tell what is the situation with ports of rtl/rtai to MPC8xxx (specifically MPC8260) chips ?
i found a thread in mailing list archive (august) concerning this, then rtl was not tested/available for these chips.
