Unless you are working on a 3U cPCI system, most vendors don't make
cPCI formfactor I/O devices.  In the 6U cPCI systems I normally work
with, we usually have at least PMC (PCI mezzanine card) site on a
cPCI SBC and we can add PMC's into 6U carrier boards in any slot in
the chassis.  There are also some 3U cPCI SBCs with one PMC site
(though rare due to real estate premiums in that form factor), though
I usually see expansion via 3U cPCI I/O cards.

That said, you can buy a PMC form factor audio card from many different
sources.  Since a PMC is electrically compatible with PCI (just a
different form factor), you utilize the existing PCI drivers.  Here's

at PMC module vendors and you should find many more.
