Hi all,

I'm actually porting all my developpement from kernel-2.2.12/rtai-1.1 to kernel-2.4.2/rtai-24.1.4.
I needed that because we change the motherboard from ASUS P2B-D to ASUS CUV4X-DLS,
and the last version had a problem reporting the 2 cpus : CPU0 and CPU3 !!!
Which, of course, causes some problems to attach threads to cpus.( refer to NR_RT_CPUS)

But now I get a new problem :
- patching the kernel 2.4.2 with the "copyto" script is ok
- compiling is ok (kernel and rtai modules)

but when the system boot, all is ok for the kernel but when insmoding "rtai" there is a lag (about 3s),
then a segmentation fault.
the message is :

NMI Watchdog detected LOCKUP on CPU0, registers:
...

I tried many config for the kernel ( disabling specific registers for example ...) but nothing more ...

Looking at the system boot, I saw : "CPU present map : 9 ", which means 1001b and confirm CPU0,CPU3 detection on kernel 2.2.12,
but kernel-2.4.2 remapp them correctly to CPU0,CPU1.

If someone has any idea ?? or if someone has already worked with this motherboard ??

Thank you for all your job !
Chris.
