No Subject

hi all !!,
   iam new to lionux world,mplease help me!!!!!

Iam tryin to insatll RTlinux v3.0 on my redhat system ,
i downloaded a clean kernel v2.2 and the corresponding patch was available
in the RTlinux tar file itself.but when i apply the pactch i get the message
->"Hunk#1 failed at 122 
    1 out of 1 hunk failed---- saving to include/linux/major.h.rej"
		after taht makemenuconfig is not  running if i ignore this
please solve my prob, i would be really gratefull.
