I'm not sure what the problem is that you are having. I am using a
Pentium 100MHz with 64M and I use 1M shared memory at the top end;
(63M up), I have the [ append = "mem=63m" ] statement in my lilo.conf.
I am using Linux version 2.0.29 with the RT-Linux 0.5a and have no
problem, all I can offer is that it is possible.
