[rtl] clock unit

Hi everyone,
I was finally able to install rtl. I am running some tests and I would
like to know a couple of things if any of you could  help me with it.

1. what's the unit of the count for the clock, e.g if I set period of 5000
in rt_task_make_periodic(), what is 5000 us, ms? I think it depends upon
the count set in the header file (rt_time.h?), then what does this value
do, is it some sort of divider that divides the system frequency?
