[rtl] Any question about the TIMER.

In what part of RT code is reconfiguration the TIMER ( 8354 / 8253) in
mode "interrupt-on-terminal-count" ..?
and What is the problem with CPU i486 ..?

task release jitter , overhead by interrupt , and low resolution is
solutioned with it ..?

The funtion do_gettimeofday(strct timeval *tv) have resolution "near" of
microsecond .. is equvalence to rt_get_time() ..??
