Subject: Need Some Answers to RT-Linux???
Hi;
I am new to Linux and RT-Linux. I installed ver 2.0.6 according to the
install doc (Tim Christian Siering) found on the RT-Linux home page.
Everything seemed to work. When it starts up it I receive a "7" when I
issue the "/sbin/ksyms -a | grep " "rt_ | wc -l" command.
I compile the 2tasks and get no errors. I load all the modules with no
error messages. I run the "./app" executable and see the FIFO 1: Frank and
FIFO 2: Zappa on the screen. Then the screen goes blank, then it looks like
a core dump info comes on the screen disappears/reappears/disappears, then
the system reboots.
I managed to freeze the screen once and saw a message informing me about
"idle wait state" problem.
Do you have any ideas? Or know how I can ask? Could you foward this to
others to see if anyone else has an ideas?
Thanks
Donald Radke
