[rtl] a manuscript describing my RT-Linux based cardiac pacing control system
Hi all,
I've written a manuscript describing my RT-Linux based cardiac
pacing control system. I plan to submit the paper to Annals of Biomedical
Engineering next week. The purpose of the paper is to introduce biomedical
engineers (like myself) and others in medical fields to RT-Linux and to
demonstrate its capability as an interface for biomedical experiments. I
believe that there are a lot of people out there who should know about
RT-Linux and what it's capable of!
I was wondering if 1 or 2 of you might be willing to read my paper
to check the accuracy of what I say about RT-Linux. Hopefully this would
prevent any blatant errors from being published. The paper is relatively
short (12 double-spaced pages with 3 figures), so it doesn't take long to
read. If anyone is interested in doing this, please email me, and I'll
email you a copy of the paper.
Also, I have a couple questions (for inclusion in the paper):
1. What is the fastest task rate that the latest version
(or any version) of RT-Linux is capable of?
2. What is the standard interrupt rate for Windows 95/NT? (I
believe it's 100 Hz on Linux and 1024 on HP Unix, right?)
3. What is the minimum system on which RT-Linux runs effectively?
(486 MHz? ___ MB RAM?)
