[rtl] Still another newbie patch problem

Greetings, All:

Have you all heard enough about patch problems? Here's mine:

I'm trying to apply the rtlinux-0.6-2.0.33 patch to Debian hamm
(frozen), using the nice concise instructions provided with 0.6 by
Michael Barabanov. CD'd to /usr/src/linux, tried patch -p1
<../rtlinux-0.6-2.0.33/kernel_patch, and it barked at me "can't find
file to patch at input line 4".

Obviously, I don't know what I'm doing -- and it's my lot in life to
always fail when following the simple written instructions. If any is so
motivated, I'd appreciate assistance with my present recto-cranial
impaction...
