Try the Linux Router Project (www.linuxrouter.org).
It's designed to boot off a 1.44 MB floppy and run
out of a ram disk. Because you only have 4 MB of
ram, you'd probably have to modify it to run directly
off the Disk on Chip. I've made exactly this
modification myself; if you're interested let me
know and I'll send you the details.
