[rtl] RTL in ROM

Hello,

I am starting to study the feasability of ROMing the Linux loader+image
and make a ROM file system for the root partition for PC based hardware
with a 4 to 16Mb of flash.

Does anybody have interesting pointers (URLs) or cares to join effort?

PS: If this works, I would be using RTL for a new project which is a
studio grade Audio A/D converter (24 bits / 96 kHz). Although this is
for a commercial product, the projected sales of the item are less that
5/year and we are talking about a little start-up which can not justify
the overhead of a commecially available RTOS or the project would be
dead even before it started.
