[rtl] RT-Linux maybe on "48 hours" this thursday evening
Greetings,
I spent the last several days flying the RT-linux based SRA (Scanning
Radar Altimeter) AKA "Storm Surge Radar" in and out of the eye wall of
Hurricane Georges. On the last flight, a CBS crew for the program "48
hours" was on board and shot some video of us and our system. I put a
banner with:
xbanner -label "Storm Surge Radar"
which put the penquin in the lower left and the banner across the top of
a secondary linux-laptop we were using. Hopefully they'll use some of
the footage they shot of us. They spent most of the time talking to one
of the pilots and apparantly he's going to be the "center piece" instead
of the plane's mission and science.
I didn't have the penquin with the clock or I'd have used it. A penquin
wearing a redhat is there instead.
Best regards and Thanks to everyone who
contributed to rt and linux!!!
C. Wayne Wright
