My experience with RtLinuX  on our video machines is, there are aprox 50%
CPU left to LinuX.
This is only valid for our application 10MByte per second video to disk
plus 4 track 48k 16Bit audio
and some machine control processes. Mesured by 'time make' with up or down
rt processes.
