[rtl] debug tools

I remembered several days ago someone talked about how to do
debug for RTLinux. Basically it uses a serial line to connect
to machines, one is the host and another is for debug. 

What I am interested is that: Is this debug tool publicly 
available? If not, can I get some help from the developer.
