[rtl] copy RtLinux onto FlashDisk (off topic!!)
Hi Rt survival team members :-)
First let me say that RtLinuX works fine for me.
We use a sandisk flash disk as boot up device for linux.
To copy the boot image to the flash we power down a PC,
insert the flash as second IDE, power up,
copy the data to the flash, power down ....
OK for some flash but not for several updates.
Is there a way to attach the flash to the ... printer port
and download thru it without power cycling the PC?
Any idea?
Yes, this is of topic,
but this list has been very constructiv so far.
ThanX to all.
