[rtl] Thanks
Hi every body... I guess you all best remeber me as the Rt-linux guy, who
was struggling to get things happening.. Well i finally got things
together. And we have Melbourne University's first Radio Telescope. Yes, we
have developed a Radio Telescope which can be controlled via the internet.
We succesfully tested it today, and had it tracking satellites. Pretty
inspirational stuff really. The controller was done in RT-linux, and i used
shared mem, but only for the inter process communication in linux, i had
some difficulty implmenting it with rt-linux as well. I just wanted to
thank you all for your advice, time and guidance. Thank you.... Should any
one be interested alot of the stuff that we have done, including the dish
control panel is on-line, at "http://stargate.ee.mu.oz.au" as our project
deadline is in about 2 weeks, this site is storngly under contruction (as
any decent project should be near its dead line). But eventually every
thing will be fully documentated :-)
Thanks once again.....
Niroshan
