Slackware-3.5 is not a problem. There are many possibilities

1) You can upgrade kernel to 2.0.35 and download newest version
    of RT-Linux (release9G.tgz).
2) You can use RTlinux-0.6-2.0.33 with 2.0.34 but You should
    remove /usr/src/linux/include/linux/version.h after applying
    RT-Linux patch. Patch errorously creates this file.

I recommend the first approach.
