[rtl] RTlinux + VME

If I use a PC board on VME backplane, to access VME backplane , I will
need a driver.

But what does this driver do (only initialise VME chip) ?

because in rtlinux app, I will need VME access and if VME driver access
is needed -> Real Time can not be respected

Do some people have experience with this ?
