[rtl] Does the Rate Monotonic scheduler work?

Hello!

Has anyone been able to get the Rate Monotonic scheduler to work with
any of the later releases of rtl?  I have tried many different things
and have got it to compile but it doesn't run without hanging.  By the
look of things, the design of rtl has changed so much that the rate
monotic scheduler code is not even close to compatable any more.

I am trying to use it for part of my project for my real-time systems
class project and I'm running out of time.  Help!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
