[rtl] RedHat 5.2 installation

I was wondering if someone could guide me in installing rtlinux on a machine
that has the RedHat 5.2 distribution (kernel 2.0.36). When I try and install
the kernel_patch it is unable to find some of the necessary files.  

Thanks in advance.

P.S.  I tried using Till Christian Sierung's installation tips and
decompressing a new kernel.  When I do this RTlinux installs correctly,
however I loose network capabilities and connecting to the xserver (to
launch Xwindows).
