[rtl] kernel problems

 I'm trying to compile the kernel 2.2.10 with RTL beta11, but I have some
  problems with one of the computers ...
  
  My computer stop exactly after this message:
  "Freeing unused kernel memory: 40k freed"
  
  The computer is a AMD586 with 40Mb RAM
  
  Please ... what happened ?!??!
