The POSIX standard is not written in stone and I hope that RTLinux
users will participate in the next revision.

Steve Papa tells me this module runs under RTLinux V2. I'm waiting for
a version that Steve clears for distribution. In this way, people who
want the POSIX "combined RT/General purpose AEP" can use that module and
people who want the "minimal system AEP" plus some simplifying extensions
can use the RTL V2 default scheduler.

I don't like the combined API and don't believe it can stay fast and
deterministic. But there is no reason why it can't be used by people
who don't share my tastes and no reason why it can't be distributed with
the RTLinux distribution.
